Michael Fiddes and Michael Anderson, renowned farm agent with over 35 years’ experience and East Anglia’s prominent minerals and waste expert respectively, have been appointed by Ceres Property – a move that demonstrates the new business’ ambition for growth and dominance in the rural property sector.

Alongside Ceres Property’s recognised service offering in planning, development and rural property matters, these additions to the team give them yet more strings to their bow – the buying and selling of farms, land and estates, and the specialist advice surrounding quarrying and waste.

Fiddes and Anderson are particularly well-known for their success in East Anglia, but Fiddes has made notable lucrative transactions across multiple regions of the UK, and Anderson is looking to support Ceres Property’s clients on a more national scale. Their dealings have involved private and public sector clients, as well as institutional organisations.

John McLarty, Ceres Property Managing Partner, said “We are delighted Michael and Michael have chosen to help Ceres Property further expand its service offering. It was crucial we deliver support to our clients on the full spectrum of rural property matters. These appointments signify our arrival as a major player in the market.”

Paul Fosh, Executive Partner said “These two consultants have an enviable reputation in the industry. Their belief in the Ceres Group ethos and ambition was key in identifying them as the best candidates to build an incredibly successful Ceres Property agency team and minerals and waste consultancy service line.”
