Ceres Property Welcomes Two New Graduates: Meet Lily & Ben

Oct, 08 2025We’re delighted to welcome Lily Grinnall and Ben Croll as the newest graduate recruits to our Development Team at Ceres Property. Their arrival marks an exciting step in our continued investment in nurturing future talent within the sector. As graduate surveyors, Lily and Ben will be working closely with our experienced consultants to gain hands-on exposure across a broad range of services. Their journey with us is designed to support their professional growth and guide them towards achieving RICS accreditation, a key milestone in their careers.
We caught up with our new starters for a quick Q&A:
Where did you study?
Ben: I studied at the University of Reading, graduated summer 2025, studying Real Estate.
Lily: I’m 21 years old and I’m a recent graduate from Oxford Brookes University.
What part of the job are you most looking forward to experiencing first-hand?
Ben: I’m looking forward to building relationships with other developers and clients in the industry, enjoy the people side of what agency offers and the fast paced environment.
Lily: I’m looking forward to meeting experienced professionals who I can learn a lot from.
You’ll be working towards your RICS accreditation – what does that milestone mean to you?
Ben: It’s about putting theory into practice which I’ve learnt a lot throughout my studies of Real Estate, working for Ceres Property gives me the chance to prove the theory I’ve picked up and put it into practice.
Lily: It’s about building credibility and opening doors, this will give me the professional recognition which I know matters.
Out of all the places you could have started, why Ceres?
Ben: The business is of a scale where I can get meaningful exposure whilst also being in a close-knit environment where I can learn directly from experienced professionals. For me, it was a great place to join and grow.
Lily: Ceres Property to me feels like the right size in culture enabling me to learn from people with experience.
Site visit of desk day?
Ben: Site visit, who doesn’t like being out in the sun (when it is sunny)!
Lily: Depends on the weather, but site visits.
