The summer of 2024 is now behind us, with the Euro Finals and the Paris Olympics making it a summer to remember.

But Ceres Property has not been sitting back. The Planning Team has recruited six new planners to prepare for political change and meet growing demand. Now with one of the largest residential development consultancy teams in the Eastern Region, the planning business goes from strength to strength.

The team continues to work from two main bases: Saffron Walden – looking north and west into Cambridge, Norfolk and Hertfordshire, and Chelmsford – serving Essex, Suffolk and East London.

The focus for the next four months as we head towards Christmas is delivering on Labour’s policy to meet the housing crisis. The expansion of the team comes following sustained landowner opportunities, as well as working with the wider promotion and housebuilder market. Plus, the emerging National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) has only reinforced the need for team growth to meet demand.

Ceres Property looks forward to working with clients, both new and existing, on exciting schemes and projects in the coming months. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the UK’s political landscape and the policies affecting our industry, continually reviewing our approach and tactics employed in order to maximise success for our clients.
