PLANNING

The site benefits from detailed planning approval for an “Assisted living development (Class C2) comprising, 80 assisted living units, communal / health facilities, access, roadways, parking, open space and landscaping”.

This approval was submitted under reference DC/21/3016/FUL and was granted at appeal under reference (APP/X3540/W/22/3301868).

Following the approval, many of the pre-commencement planning conditions have been discharged.

East Suffolk Council adopted the Charging Schedule on the 28th June 2023 and came into effect on 1st August 2023.

Halesworth, Suffolk, is a market town with a population of approximately 5,000 people. The town is situated approximately 10 miles to the west of Southwold, and 18 miles southwest of Lowestoft.
